Katie Welsh is a singer specializing in musical theater and the Great American Songbook and a magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Princeton University.

Katie’s performances have included solo concert engagements at Feinstein's/54 Below, the Princeton Club of New York, Don't Tell Mama, The Duplex, the Metropolitan Room, and BroadwayCon. Katie also frequently performs in the Princeton area, with recent concerts at the Arts Council of Princeton, Salon 33, and One Table Cafe. She sings for private events and house concerts as well.

Katie specializes in developing “informative cabarets,” evenings of song that blend performance and scholarship, with the following full-length programs in her repertoire:

Katie recently co-authored a chapter on musical theater reception theory with Stacy Wolf for The Routledge Companion to the Contemporary Musical (2019).
